Can you give me a rough breakdown of how my project will progress?
There are many variables that will impact how long your house remodeling job will take, but the following is a breakdown of how the project phases usually progress.

  1. The Design Phase – During this phase you will be working with your Designer/architect to design and draw up plans for your new space. Once plans are finalized a contract and scope of work will be signed by both parties.
  2. The Preparation Phase – Materials are selected and construction is scheduled. Houston Home Revival will obtain the necessary permits. Our Project Designer will continue to work closely with you during this phase.
  3. The Construction Phase – This is when the actual construction work is done. Once this phase is done, your project will be substantially completed.
  4. The Wrap-Up Phase – you and your Project Manager will draw up a final punch-list of any touch-up items left and agree on a schedule for their completion. All inspections will be completed and finalized.
What will it cost to remodel my kitchen?
No two kitchen remodels are the same. This makes answering any question about cost very difficult. Our focus has always been on service to our clients no matter their budget. It is easy to design and remodel kitchens for $60,000 and up. We have worked hard with some homeowners to create smaller kitchen remodels for as little as $25,000. Some of these kitchens required staging improvements over time, considering more cost effective kitchen features, reusing existing appliances and/or some personal involvement in the kitchen remodel from the homeowner. The tighter your budget is, the more creativity and flexibility the kitchen project will require.
Is home remodeling the right choice?
Home remodeling is not right for everyone, and Houston Home Revival understands this. But for many, house remodeling is a way to invest in their family. In our 20-plus years in the house remodeling business, we’ve seen why our clients have chosen to remodel their homes. Here are some of the reasons they’ve mentioned to us:

“We love our neighborhood/neighbors.”
“The location is perfect for work, life, and our daily activities.”
“Our children are well established in the school system.”
“We’ve looked at new construction and have realized that there is more value in staying and remodeling.”
“We love the charm and character of our older home”.

What Are the Advantages of Fiber Cement Hardie Siding?
There are several benefits of choosing fiber cement siding and trim from James Hardie. Because fiber cement is thicker than other siding products, it stands up to sun, sea air, high winds, heavy rain, hail and severe storms. Its Class A fire rating makes it non-combustible and preferred for renovation and new-build projects. Its composition keeps it from melting, warping, sagging, cracking and shrinking. It also protects against mold, mildew, insects and rotting.
How Long Does Hardie Siding Last?
James Hardie siding is built to last 30 years or more which is why it has a 30-year, non-pro-rated warranty to back it up. It also features the Good Housekeeping Seal.
What Is a James Hardie Preferred Remodeler?
Being a preferred remodeler in the James Hardie Contractor Alliance Program means that the remodeler has been trained and is well-versed in installation, repair and replacement of all James Hardie fiber cement siding products. A James Hardie preferred remodeler, such as Houston Home Revival, also adheres to the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. That’s why it makes sense to go with a James Hardie-certified remodeler which is proud of its preferred remodeler status.
